Rekha, a 65-year-old woman from a small village in Bihar, had been living with cataracts in both eyes for years. Her world had slowly faded into darkness, leaving her unable to care for her grandchildren or perform daily tasks. With no financial means to afford surgery, Rekha's future seemed bleak.

When our outreach team met her during a free eye camp, Rekha’s condition was immediately assessed. Thanks to generous donations, Rekha underwent cataract surgery at no cost. Today, she has regained her sight and her independence. Rekha now spends her days tending to her garden and playing with her grandchildren—her life full of color and light once more.

Sita, a bright 12-year-old girl, was born with a severe refractive error that made it difficult for her to see the blackboard at school. Her parents, daily wage laborers, couldn’t afford glasses, and Sita’s dream of excelling in her studies seemed out of reach.

During a routine school screening program conducted by Sri Sai Eye Hospital, Sita’s condition was identified. She was provided with free corrective glasses through our donor-supported initiative. Today, Sita is at the top of her class, her academic performance reflecting her sharp vision and even sharper mind.

During one of our free eye camps, Babu Lal was identified and brought to Sri Sai Eye Hospital for treatment. Thanks to the generous donations from people like you, Babu Lal received free cataract surgery. Today, he walks to the market by himself, cooks his own meals, and has regained his sense of dignity and independence.
